The Explore North Coast Social ‘Thingy’ started in 2009. It’s a free, non-commercial, three-day event with the sole purpose of paddling and sharing our beautiful area with like minded folks, and having fun. As Mike Dedman, the founding father, would put it, “We’ve got a lot of ocean to share, from mild to wild, flat-water to big swell, rock gardening and kayak surfing. We make every attempt to cater to all levels, from beginners to hard chargers.” Watch our calendar for the details of our next event scheduled for April 25-28, 2019.
